As the cruise sets sail, your naturalist guides will present the upcoming itinerary, covering geography, wildlife, and history. After a brief rest, set off on a skiff excursion to Yacapana. As night falls, search for nocturnal species such as caimans, tarantulas, and frogs. Return aboard for a welcome dinner inspired by Peruvian-Amazonian cuisine.
Start the day with a sunrise boat ride along the Amazon River, observing the riverside communities as they begin their daily routines. After returning for a buffet breakfast, head back out to explore the Yarapa River, known for its black waters and rich biodiversity. After lunch, join an insightful cultural talk led by your guides. In the afternoon, visit the community of Paranapura to learn about their customs and way of life. As night approaches, embark on a second nocturnal excursion in search of jungle wildlife. Before dinner, enjoy live music featuring regional and international rhythms.
Before breakfast, set out on a boat journey along the Yarapa River to spot unique Amazonian species and scenic vistas. After breakfast, prepare for a guided jungle walk through the Yucuruchi area, located within the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. This region is rich in native flora and fauna, offering excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities. Return to the ship for lunch and a short rest. In the late afternoon, cruise the Amazon River once more in search of the iconic pink river dolphins. Witness a dramatic Amazonian sunset before returning to the ship for live music, a farewell presentation, and your final dinner onboard.
After breakfast, disembark and transfer toward Iquitos, stopping en route at the Amazon Forever Bio Park, also known as the Manatee Rescue Center. Here, rescued manatees and other wildlife are rehabilitated before being released back into their natural habitat. Learn about the organization’s work and the importance of Amazon conservation.
