Upon arrival in Iquitos, you’ll be welcomed and taken to enjoy a local lunch before heading to the dock for your cruise departure. En route, take in a panoramic city tour that highlights the charm of this Amazonian city. Once aboard, settle into your suite and sip a refreshing cocktail on the observation deck as the journey begins. Naturalist guides will introduce you to the region, sharing insights about the itinerary, geography, and ecosystems. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner highlighting Amazonian flavors, followed by stargazing as the ship sails deeper into the rainforest.
Start the day with a sunrise skiff excursion on the Amazon River to observe early-morning wildlife activity. After a hearty breakfast buffet onboard, head out again to witness a natural spectacle—the confluence of the Marañón and Ucayali Rivers, where the Amazon River is born. Keep an eye out for pink and gray river dolphins. In the afternoon, attend a lecture on the river’s hydrography before a walk in Puerto Prado to see the enormous Victoria Amazonica water lilies. After dinner, take a nighttime safari in search of caimans, frogs, and other nocturnal creatures.
Begin your morning with a scenic skiff ride through lakes and lagoons, ending at the serene Japanese Lagoon—a prime spot for dolphin sightings and birdwatching. Enjoy a picnic lunch in one of the best-preserved zones of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve. Later, head to Yanaquillo for a kayaking session and swim in the calm black waters. After lunch, enjoy a philosophical talk about Amazonian worldview and spirituality, followed by a treetop walk along hanging bridges offering incredible views of the jungle canopy. End the day with a cocktail-making demo and live music before the captain’s gala dinner.
Today brings a deeper cultural immersion with a visit to the San Regis community. Meet a local shaman and learn about traditional spiritual beliefs and healing rituals. Take part in a symbolic tree planting ceremony to support reforestation efforts. Local women will display their handmade crafts at a small market, a chance to connect with the community’s creativity. After lunch, learn about Amazonian myths and legends, then embark on a skiff ride to Shiriyacu stream for a thrilling session of piranha fishing. Return in time for sunset views, live music, and another memorable dinner onboard.
Your final morning starts in Nauta, where a motorcycle taxi ride will take you through the lively local market, offering insight into the daily life of this riverside city. Back onboard, enjoy a last breakfast before disembarkation. On the way to the airport, make a meaningful stop at the Manatee Rescue Center. Learn how rescued manatees and other animals are rehabilitated and prepared for reintroduction into the wild—a touching end to your Amazon adventure.
